Back-story:

Born in Belfast in the early 1600's in the fall right before the winter colds, Me Mah and Dah where not that well off in the world being poor tavern owners. I grew up with little luxury in my life. as I grew of age to start working I started working in me family's tavern scraping and saving every penny I could Eventually I turned to pick pocketing and petty thievery, shortly after that I came a crossed a gypsy caravan they caught me trying to pick the gypsy king's pocket. After I a long fight with no victor the gypsy king pardoned me and said that he would only allow me to live if I travel with them to pay off my debt. During the 4 years I worked with then I learned how to better my thievery skills and found my first crush Neryssa from Greece we courted each other for the time I was there. We spent night's looking up at the stars and days running around towns taking what we wanted and selling it off at the next town. Till one day we can back to my beloved Belfast and had found out that my Father had been killed by a man of the British fleet for refusing to give up his tavern and become a sailor. Knowing the hardship me Mah had to deal with I left Neryssa and me gypsy's to help my mother run the tavern. being the ripe age of 15 and having my childhood lover gone I turned to the art of wenching with the finer clothes that I gotten while with me gypsy's it wasn't hard to do I treated it like a game to see how many I could bed before having to rise in the morning for the morning chores. That became the usual day to day activity for a few years till I was about 17 years old when I found a beauty close second to me fair Neryssa, I saw her strolling from the market ignoring all the merchants and men barking and drooling over her. One look at her I could tell you she was noble but she was wearing pesant's clothes but it was the way she walked that gave it away. So I climb down from out my window so not to upset me mother and hurried off to follow the beautiful lass. I followed a ways behind her so I wouldn't give myself away but when she stopped at a jewelry stand she spotted me and called me over. she said that she knew I was there for sometime now and that I should be warned that her father was the baron of these parts being spotted and bested by a women I was embarrassed so I told that other then me fair Neryssa I haven't seen a woman with such beauty and that's why I had been following her. She introduced herself to me as Megan and thanked for the kind words. We chat for a bit and I invited her to me family's tavern for some food and drinks for neither on of us have yet dined for lunch. Several months went by and we talked more and more as she started to fall in love and I took advantage of the angle and convinced her let me take her. But when Her Father became informed of our indiscretions he got furious and came at me one night when Me and Megan where getting dressed, and as I ran away he called for the guards to kill me at whatever cost. While running way for the barons guards and eventually the town guards as well I spotted a captain of the one the ships heading out of town back to his ship. so I snuck back into the tavern packed a few things and left a note for me mah and went to the stables and stole then best horse I could find and ran out of town in the same direction I saw the Captain take When I caught up with him I beg him to let aboard his ship to save my life. To this day I don't why he allowed me aboard but I've worked the past 6 years through the ranks and now I'm the first mate
